Galil-Golan District

The North district spreads over the area between Lebanon border in the north, Hermon in the east, Rosh Haniqra in the west and Kalanit and Yodfat in the south.

The area is essentially agricultural, and the agricultural fields of the farmers are suitable for the climate of the area and make use of the relative advantages. Industry and tourism which developed in the area are based on the agriculture and interface with it.

There are 7 Regional Councils, 3 Local Councils, and 36 Arab Councils in the district.
In total 243 settlements in the district and 13,000 Agricultural estates.
Agricultural production value about 4 billion NIS.

In the district, there are about 600 thousand acres of arable land, Mostly processed.
In addition, there are 400 thousand acres of pasture lands in the district.
